
Pillow Queens to headline Galway’s Fall Right Into Place festival in September 2023
Pillow Queens, has been revealed as the first headlining act for the third edition of Fall Right Into Place, the music festival that is scheduled for the weekend of 16th and 17th September, 2023. The event will be held at Claregalway Castle, located just outside Galway city, with tickets priced at €36 plus a booking fee. Tickets will be made available for purchase from the festival's official website.
Fall Right Into Place is presented by Strange Brew. Additional activities at the two-day event will include two stages with numerous yet-to-be-announced acts, a craft bar provides by of Galway Bay Brewery, a cocktail bar, wine and cheese bar, oyster stall, and food offerings from Dela Foodtruck and Weirdough Pizza. Two-day tickets will be available for €60, and tickets can also be purchased from www.strangebrew.ie. A return bus service will be provided from Galway Cathedral to Galway’s West End for a late-night music trail.

Pillow Queens to open for Franz Ferdinand at Collins Barracks
Franz Ferdinand are the latest band to be added to Singular Artists' Wider Than Pictures series, which will take place at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks in August.
The sixth headline gig to be announced for 2023 is slated for Sunday, 27th August 2023 with very special guests Pillow Queens.
The quartet made waves with the release of their debut album In Waiting in 2020, which was Choice Music Prize nominated. The project was followed after the pandemic by Leave The Light On in 2022, shared via Royal Mountain Records and also Choice Music Prize nominated.
They toured all over the world in 2022, appearing on James Corden's Late Late Show in the US and selling out two shows in Vicar Street in October of that year. Just last weekend, the indie four-piece performed at St. Patrick's Day festival on Saturday at Collins' Barracks.
